Pick up from your Bucharest hotel and head to Sinaia, also known as "The Pearl of the Carpathians."  Sinaia is a beautiful mountain resort in the Carpathian mountains at 800 meters altitude. Here you will visit Sinaia Monastery (with the old and the new church) and Peles Castle, built by the first King of Romania, Carol I, to be a summer royal residence. The castle has an impressive architectural style. It was a very modern construction (for that time), being the first castle in Europe having electric power.

From Sinaia, the tour heads to Brasov, an old medieval citadel first documented in 1235, the most important commercial center from all the seven German Medieval Cities of Transylvania (Siebenbuergen). Visit the Old Town (the historical center), followed by time for dinner & check into your overnight accommodation.

After breakfast (included in tour price), visit the famous Bran Castle located in the small village of Bran and known as Dracula's Castle. Bran Castle was initially built as a military fortress at the end of the 14th century to defend Transylvania and Wallachia's border. It became famous worldwide after being associated with Dracula, the novel by Bram Stoker. Take advantage of Bran's beauty and picturesque mountain landscapes with a break for lunch (cost of lunch not included in tour price) in a beautiful local restaurant.

Your next stop is at Cantacuzino Castle. Located in the mountain resort of Busteni, in an idyllic natural setting, the castle was built in Neo-Romanian style and inaugurated in 1911 at Prince Cantacuzino's wish. Prince Grigore Cantacuzino was also known as "the Nabob" - prime minister of Romania - between 1899-1900 and 1904-1907. The castle is surrounded by a park whose alleys take you to a cave, cascades and fountains.

At the end of the day, the tour returns to Bucharest.
